Regreso a escribir este blog después de casi 13 años de ausencia. Ahora con la visión de documentar ésta mi ESTANCIA TERRESTRE nuevamente. Desde la nueva perspectiva que me ha dado el tiempo.

Hurricane Jimena at los cabos
The 8:00 am weather report shows the storm it's on the 20°N and 110°W, neither the rain that has fall or the wind feels storm like, there was no electric power for about an hour in my neighborhood, it rains really hard on and off. The weather forecast from the electric company CFE says that we will start to feel the impact of the storm around midday, the sky gets so dark with clouds that interrupts the satellite TV. Looks like the eye of the storm will miss los cabos. Just to think on enduring 145 mph sustained winds it´s scary, but it will hit north from us, get in the water again and hit for a second time, then move across the peninsula and continue till it reaches Arizona as a tropical depression. Now the forecast shows a little weakening maybe 5 miles less, and its expected that the second time it hits land the wind will weaken to hurricane like sustained wind, over 73 mph. For us the main problem with to much water and wind is isolation, just like when the storm Juliette hit us, we were uncommunicated for almost a week, no gas and empty stores, then somebody send a Ferry to help us and it was loaded with cokes, can you imagine instead of the basic stuff we need they send us soft drinks? Only in México.
